Are you in the process of abandoning Tumblr?

Just taking precautions. A custom domain makes it easier to switch, if necessary.

It appears that Tumblr remains an independent identity with Yahoo, and that’s great, but I’m quite sceptical about the future.

does it break easily? Or is it just the rubber nib that fall apart easily! btw I’m dying for a pogo connect and I’m searching the best way to order it from Brazil. Not so easy to find a reseller… now your post ought to discourage this new buyer!

I’ve ordered it through Amazon. I honestly don’t know anymore whether I should recommend the Pogo Connect. Maybe they are able to change the design a bit and fix the issue, and then I would happily recommend it as the best stylus available. But right now? I don’t know…

I really, really like the Pogo Connect. But this is the third time it broke! :(

The rubber tip is connected to a disc-shaped magnet, which is connected to another disc that is attached to a circuit board inside the pen. This disc breaks has broken off, so it no longer connects to the circuit board. As a result, the stylus doesn’t register any strokes.

TenOne has sent me a replacement stylus the previous times (which is really nice) so hopefully they’ll send me a third. (But I’d prefer they fix whatever is causing this problem.)

Romeo and Juliet on the drawing table. Redrawn version of an old drawing.

The drawing has rather thick outlines, because I’d like to use it for a pin button design. When scaling down the image, the outlines become thinner. I’ve recorded a screen capture video, which you can find here.

Update: I’ve added the final version for the button design. It has a 1 inch diameter at a resolution of 300 dpi. So it might look blown up and blurry on your screen, but it’s tiny when printed.
